Vintage Porcelain Oval Trinket Dish – Hand-Painted Four-Leaf Clover & Swallows Lid

The dish is paired with a lid decorated with two swallows in flight. While the lid may not be original to the base, it fits and complements the piece nicely. The bottom of the dish bears the signature and stamp of Elisabeth Liegl, München, indicating that the base is an authentic work from the Munich porcelain studio of Elisabeth Liegl. Her porcelain work was produced in the mid-20th century and the maker’s mark with an L under a crown was used in Germany in the post-war period (around 1949–1990) by the studio where Elisabeth Liegl painted and hand-decorated porcelain.
Condition: Very good vintage condition overall with bright hand-painted decoration. Small chip on the rim (visible in photos), reflected in the price.

Der Deckel zeigt zwei fliegende Schwalben. Dieser Deckel ist möglicherweise nicht original zum Unterteil, passt aber gut und harmoniert mit der Dose. Der Boden des Unterteils trägt die Signatur und Marke von Elisabeth Liegl, München, was belegt, dass das Unterteil ein echtes Stück aus dem Münchner Porzellan-Atelier von Elisabeth Liegl ist. Die Porzellanmalerei wurde in der Zeit nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg bis in die späten Jahrzehnte des 20. Jahrhunderts genutzt (ca. 1949–1990)
